Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: April 5, 2026
The short version
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not affect our rankings — our scoring algorithm is published openly in our methodology.
How we mark affiliate links
- Every affiliate link shows an "Affiliate" label next to it.
- Affiliate links use the
rel="sponsored"attribute (required by Google). - A disclosure appears near the first affiliate link on every page that contains them.
Why we use affiliates
Running this site costs money (hosting, domain, analytics tooling). Affiliate commissions help us cover those costs and keep the directory free for everyone. We only add affiliate links to communities and tools we would recommend anyway.
What we promise
- Affiliate relationships will never change a community's score or ranking position.
- We will clearly disclose every affiliate link near where it appears.
- If a community we recommend loses quality, we will remove or downgrade it regardless of affiliate revenue.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is made in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."
